Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers stunning Thames views from a good-sized room with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Although the area seems rundown and pricey, the location is excellent, especially for river enthusiasts. The dining was tasty, but service could be more attentive, making it a bit pricey for the overall experience.
I was a bit disappointed with the dated and tired look of the rooms. They definitely need modernization, especially the bathrooms. However, the staff were very accommodating and friendly, and the location right on the Thames with pleasure boats sailing from the jetty was fantastic. The breakfast was sufficient, and the view of the Thames from the room and the restaurant was lovely.
The hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were spacious and equipped with essentials, but cleanliness was lacking, with a missing TV controller and a broken sink plug. The service ranged from inattentive to eventually supportive. The location was nice and convenient, despite the area looking run down and being pricey. The dining experience was average with a mix of tasty food and poor organization. Overall, a mixed but decent stay.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the free parking in a secure car park was a definite plus. However, there was a bit of noise from the air con or something else. The service was amazing, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great Easter weekend. The location was very handy and had a nice view by the river with ducks and swans. Unfortunately, there were cobwebs on lights which gave an unkempt appearance. The dining experience was decent, but some of the hot food ran out and was not promptly replaced. Overall, I found the facilities to be adequate.
